CEO & Event Planner

Beth graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Apparel and Textile Design. She has been in the wedding industry for 10 years and it is her true passion.

While attending college, Beth apprenticed with the ever-talented Ruby Chifane at Something Blue Bridal in Michigan Center, MI. She currently is the wedding hostess at Brooklyn Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn, MI.

She lives on Gilletts Lake in Jackson, MI with her wonderful and supportive husband, Andrew and her two sons, Jonah and Wyatt.

Deborah attended Millikin University in Decatur, IL.,majoring in music education and communications. She has 40 years of experience in the wedding industry.

As the organist and director of music at Brooklyn Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn, MI, and the assistant choral teacher at Columbia Central High School, Deborah brings talent and a musical ear to our company.

She lives in Jackson, MI with her loving husband, Ted. She has three children and two son-in-laws, Kate & Evan McColley, Beth and Andy Hughes, Ben Carlson and two grandchildren, Jonah and Wyatt Hughes.


Kelly Houseworth

Heather Ely
Jackson Area Director, Lead Decorator & Event Planner

Heather attended Eastern Michigan University where she studied Elementary Education. While at Eastern she joined Sigma Kappa sorority, where her love of event planning really peaked. As Vice President of Alumni Relations and later Social Chair, Heather was able to show off her creative and unique eye while planning elegant formals, one-of- a kind semi-formals, and mixers with other sororities. Heather has also planned several fundraising events with alumni to help raise money for local and national charities.

Since college, Heather has continued to plan events such as birthday parties, family reunions, bridal showers, and elegant weddings. Her nine years of experience is exciting to add to our company.

Heather lives in the Adrian area, where she enjoys relaxing with family and friends on the weekends.


Lauren

Lauren Zessin
Event Planner

Lauren has a background in Education- she graduated from Albion College with a BA in Secondary Education but has always had a passion for organizing and decorating events. She helped plan formals and fundraisers for her sorority while in college and loves to plan and decorate parties and showers.

She lives in Jackson with her husband Joe and two children, Lily and Riley, along with a golden retriever Sadie and cat Magik. She really enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to visit the local parks and lakes. She's looking forward to making sure your event is perfect!


Lauren

Melissa Bartlett
Event Planner

Melissa attended Jackson College where she received her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She currently works at the University of Michigan in the Undergraduate Admissions Office where she has been for over 20 years. She has always loved planning and decorating for various events including birthday parties, graduation parties, bridal showers, family reunions, fundraisers, and weddings.

She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Rick. She has 3 children and one son-in-law, Danielle and Dean Pirtle, Richard, and Austin, and two grandchildren, Billy and Lillian.
