Our goal is to give you the event of a lifetime that will leave your guests raving for years to come. We customize each event to your personal needs. We'll begin with a consultation to discuss all of your ideas at length, then design a plan with a variety of options for you to consider.

With our extensive industry experience and contacts, we are uniquely positioned to create your memorable day for much less cost than you might expect. Heather Ely - CEO & Lead Decorator & Event Planner

Heather attended Eastern Michigan University where she studied Elementary Education. While at Eastern she joined Sigma Kappa sorority, where her love of event planning really peaked. As Vice President of Alumni Relations and later Social Chair, Heather was able to show off her creative and unique eye while planning elegant formals, one-of- a kind semi-formals, and mixers with other sororities. Heather has also planned several fundraising events with alumni to help raise money for local and national charities.

With over a decade of experience, Heather leads the company and continues to plan events such as birthday parties, family reunions, bridal showers, and elegant weddings.

Heather lives in the Adrian area, where she enjoys relaxing with family and friends on the weekends.

Kennedy Strand - Event Planner and Office Manager

Kennedy has always been "the go-to planner" for trips, parties and events with family and friends. Her career with "Leave It To Us" began in 2018 as an intern and quickly moved into a coordinator role by the season's end. She is currently the lead event coordinator; her favorite part of the job is doing something she is passionate about. Kennedy knows details make the difference and loves bringing life to your special event.

She enjoys kayaking, spending time in the summer sun and recently purchased a home in Cement City. Kennedy worked at Disney World in 2016 as part of the college program so her dream opportunity would be to plan a Disney Wedding.
